Gwen is our native Tennessean who was born and raised just east of Nashville in the bustling
City Between the Lakes, Mount Juliet. It’s here that she discovered her love of family and
community, gathering for large family get-togethers on Sunday afternoon and checking out all
the latest attractions in a city that’s shown tremendous growth over the past 25 years. Just ask her about Big Bad Wolf Smokehouse Grill or Cori’s Doghouse—or about Providence
Marketplace or Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. Her greatest discovery, however, was when her
friend introduced her on her lunch break to James, her husband now of 32 years. Soon after,
Gwen began working in Healthcare Management at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital where she
worked as a manager for the anesthesia tech team. She continued her work with VCH for over twenty years.
In 2005 Gwen and James moved their family southeast to another booming city in the Greater
Nashville area, the thriving college-town of Murfreesboro—home of the MTSU Blue Raiders.
It’s here that she enjoys spending time with her family and friends—especially her two
daughters and GiGi babies. And who doesn’t love their GiGi babies? =)
Gwen is very active in her church, serving on the Prayer Team, Women of Wisdom, Toys for
Tots and Esther's Projects.
Gwen joined The Milam Group with Fridrich and Clark Realty in 2022, after spending several
years with another local real estate company because of the vibrant and active team model. In that year, the team closed over $50M in real estate and served over 50 clients. Gwen loves the training, support and encouragement team members offer one another. Her steady,
compassionate nature coupled with her dedication to her clients’ success make her a stand-out agent, both for the team and for her clients. Her servant’s heart translates into her careful
management of her client’s transactions. She genuinely loves helping others during one of the
most pivotal times in their lives—whether it’s selling or purchasing a home.
When she’s not selling real estate, Gwen can be found in her garden or on her back porch
reading. She loves to travel (especially 30A) and her dream is to build a lake house and leave a legacy to her grandkids. And something not many people know about Gwen? She collects
